The Federal TRIO Programs are educational opportunity outreach programs designed to motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds. The Northern Marianas College is currently home to one of the eight Federal TRiO programs: Upward Bound.
Upward Bound provides fundamental support to participants in their preparation for college entrance by providing opportunities for its participants to succeed in their pre-college performance and ultimately in their higher education pursuits.
The Northern Marianas College is a Land Grant Institution accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Community and Junior Colleges and the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association for Schools and Colleges.
