Administrative Services
The number one goal of the Division of Administrative
Services is to provide a safe, clean, and healthy environment that will promote
learning and individual growth.
To accomplish this goal the Division is headed
by a Director and is assisted by an Administrative Officer and is divided
into two separate units: Facilities Maintenance and Operations. Some of the
responsibilities are: Facilities and Equipment Maintenance, New Construction,
ADA Compliance, Emergency Disaster Preparedness, Custodial and Grounds keeping
Services, and Security Services.
Facilities Maintenance Unit
The Facilities Maintenance Unit is
responsible for maintaining the campus facilities, equipment and infrastructure
in a safe condition and one, which is conducive to learning in an institution
of higher education. In addition to maintenance the unit is responsible for
all renovations. The unit is staffed with one full time Maintenance specialist
and is supplemented by additional personnel on a contractual basis.
Operations Unit
The Operations Unit has a variety
of responsibilities that support College activities. This Unit is responsible
for security, communications, logistical support, cleanliness and sanitation
of the campus as well as grounds maintenance. This unit consists of three
full time employees and numerous contracted personnel.
